IGT in Växjö is now looking for a Game Mathematician who wants to be part of the team behind the next generation of slot games.

Your Responsibilities

As a Game Mathematician, you will be responsible for the mathematical structure behind our games. You will ensure that the game's dynamics, probabilities, and statistical outcomes work both technically and regulatory. You will be part of a smaller specialist team and work closely with a colleague with similar tasks. In the projects, you will collaborate closely with Game Producers, graphic designers, developers, and QA to ensure that the game's mathematics, experience, and technical implementation are coherent from idea to finished product.

In this role, you will:

• Create and implement mathematical models for slot games
• Run and analyze simulations in internal tools
• Adjust and further develop existing mathematical models
• Work with programming related to your mathematical calculations
• Ensure that the games meet regulatory requirements and certifications

This is a technically oriented role where mathematics and programming are combined with an understanding of how games are actually experienced by the user.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in game mathematics and RTP calculations
• Has strong knowledge of probability theory
• Has good programming skills, preferably in C++
• Is analytical, structured, and meticulous
• Has an interest in how mathematics affects game balance and player experience

You may have an educational background in gaming, mathematics, or similar, but the most important thing is your ability to apply knowledge in practice. You need to be comfortable working in an international environment where English is the corporate language.
